Sistas place schedule

Sistas' Place, 456 Nostrand Avenue at Jefferson Avenue (where Jazz:Â A Music of the Spirit Lives and Culture is a Weapon), continues its 10th anniversary celebration with a performance by saxophonist Rene McLean with a trio featuring Alan Palmer on piano, Dezron Douglas on bass and drummer Lee Pearson.

Rene McLean's visits to Sistas' Place are important musical events. Rene is one of the masters of this music of the spirit and he has consistently brought top notch musicians to the venue when he has returned. You're advised to make reservations because he hasn't played Brooklyn recently.
