This month's episode commemorates Black History Month with a look at some of the Brooklyn organizations that focus on the African American experience past and present. We’ll visit with the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporian Arts (MoCADA); hear about the legacy of jazz in Brooklyn with the Central Brooklyn Jazz Consortium; and visit Weeksville, Brooklyn’s first community established by people of color after the abolition of slavery in New York State.
